What You Need to Bring
- You are a fully qualified attorney (advokat) with in-depth knowledge of Macedonian law, specializing in business law
- You are a well-rounded commercial law expert, not a narrowly specialized lawyer
- Ideally, you have 2–3 years of professional experience (not required)
- Business-level proficiency in German or English (one of the two languages is required) and a willingness to use translation tools in your daily work
- High Level of Travel Between Germany and North Macedonia
It is essential that you are open to new legal and business topics and are able to familiarize yourself with international and cross-border legal matters, particularly EU law, private international law, and relevant international treaties. In addition, you have a good understanding of business and organizational matters and enjoy building something from the ground up and playing an active role in shaping the company.
You work with a high degree of independence and in a structured manner; you demonstrate integrity, discretion, and loyalty to the firm and our clients. You’re able to communicate effectively, even from a distance. They think long-term and with an entrepreneurial mindset, and find creative solutions to complex economic and organizational challenges.

Here's what you'll do
A particular focus of our practice is on international and cross-border cases.
Looking ahead, we plan to establish our own office in North Macedonia in a central location (e.g., Skopje, Bitola, Ohrid, or similar). We see great economic and legal potential there and would like to develop this location in a deliberate and responsible manner, closely integrated with our other locations.
YOUR PERSPECTIVE
- You will be based in Dresden, Germany, initially for 1–2 years.
- During this time, you will learn about our work processes, client structure, firm culture, and our interdisciplinary
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of collaboration with tax consulting firms. At the same time, you will engage in regular project-related work in North Macedonia.
- The experience gained and structures learned in Germany are to be transferred to North Macedonia in a gradual and transformative manner and will play a key role in establishing and managing a law firm office in North Macedonia.
- The specific location will be determined jointly and is intentionally being kept open.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Legal advice for companies in the business sector
- Legal advice under Macedonian law across the full spectrum of business law, in particular:
o Corporate law (including, among other things, incorporations, restructurings, and dissolutions of companies)
o Contract drafting and contract negotiations
o Support for location decisions and investment projects
o Labor law issues
o Intersections with tax law in close collaboration with our tax advisors - Consulting on Grants and Business-Related Framework Conditions
- Support and active participation in business processes
- Establishing, maintaining, and developing client relationships
- Long-term: Helping to establish and independently manage a branch office in North Macedonia in close coordination with Dresden
- Regular professional and organizational exchanges with the German team
